The "Amazing" Race
Well... last night we did the Amazing Race.And it was CRAZY. I got into Lisa and Anthony's group and we walked AN HOUR AND A HALF more than we should've. First we tried going the long way to IKEA, and we somehow ended up on the highway, so we had to backtrack all the way around.
After feeding Anthony (one person buys, one person feeds and one person eats), we found the wrong IKEA item so we had to go back to get the right one. Then it tells us to take a 15-20 min. walk to Sheppard-Leslie's Shoppers' Drug Mart.
Apparently, we went in the exact opposite direction, waaaaaaaayy past Bessarion station. Bessarion and Leslie are a SUBWAY STATION away from each other, and we walked even farther than that. We had to walk back, and by then, it had already been an hour.
Found the items in Shoppers' Drug Mart and RAN like crazy to Ray and Sandra's house. Surprisingly, we came in second last. We all thought we were goners and might as well finish the race for the heck of it.
It was tiring, tiring, tiring. If you're gonna ask if it was fun or not, ask me say... next week, when I've gotten over it. Blegghhh.
I don't think I ever wanna do another one again. Although I heard one of the counsellors say that they're gonna do a Summer-downtown one. Near Jarvis and Regent Park. Do you know how scary it is there after dark? Not going to that one, LOL.
